Akhirnya, setelah berbulan – bulan, aku managed untuk menulis review Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette ini juga. Kalau kalian pernah baca review Maybelline Dare To Be Nudes-ku, kalian pasti tahu kalau aku sudah lama banget pengen cobain eyeshadow palette maybelline ini semenjak aku nonton Tutorial Almeida Kezia di Youtube. Warnanya sangat cantik dan memberi kesan blushing yang manis. Cocok banget untuk membuat tampilan mata yang chick atau girly atau romantis.

The Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette
Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette terdiri dari 12 shades of rose gold pigment. Kalau warna dari original palette lebih mengarah ke earthy shades, palette blushed nudes palettes ini lebih ke mauvy-pinkish shade. Warna – warna ini mengingatkanku pada Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. Seperti UD Naked 3, palette ini juga dirancang dengan kumpulan warna Rose Gold yang cantik. Sayangnya aku tidak bisa membandingkan kedua palette tersebut karena aku tidak punya palette UD 3 tersebut.
The Formula Maybelline Blushed Nudes
- Pigmentasi dari eyeshadow Blushed Nudes ini mirip dengan palette yang pertama. Warna pada row bagian atas sangat sheer. Mungkin kalian akan merasa warnanya lebih mirip shimmer highlighter pada swatch dibawah. Mungkin hal ini karena aku punya light skintone, Sebaliknya, warna pada row bagian bawah, punya better color pay off.
- The frosty shades are packed with chunky glitters
- The matte shades have dry and chalky texture
- The shimmery shades are also having powdery texture, but are more soft and creamy
- Beberapa shimmers actually punya satin finish ketimbang shimmery.
- Untuk Longevity, tanpa primer, eyeshadow Maybelline ini tahan sekitar 3-4 jam, mungkin karena aku punya tipe mata monolids + oily skin. However, with eye primer, it lasts up to a 8 hours.
The Shades
As mention above, Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette terdiri dari kombinasi warna Rose Gold. Karena tidak ada nama, jadi aku akan coba menjelaskan sebisanya warna – warna berikut, starting from Top Left – Bottom Right:
Shade 1: Frosty white with sparkles. This is the most sheer shade in the palette.
Shade 2: Light pink shade with fine sparkles.
Shade 3: Light peachy-cream shade
Shade 4: Warm Brown (this is my favorite! <3)
Shade 5: Light Pink Champagne
Shade 6: Medium rose gold
Shade 7: Shimmery light grey
Shade 8: Shimmery neutral brownish-taupe
Shade 9: Light purple-ish mauve shimmer
Shade 10: Matte Taupe
Shade 11: Purpleish-brown satin-matte with fine iridescent sparkle
Shade 12: Black matte with rose gold glitter (the glitters are chunky and messy, be careful when applying)
Dari pengalamnku, pigmentasi dari The blushed nudes palette ini lebih baik jika diaplikasikan dengan menggunakan tangan ketimbang menggunakan kuas. Pasalnya, eyeshadownya agak sulit untuk diambil dengan kuas. Jadi, yang aku lakukan adalah mengambil warnanya dengan jari dulu, baru sesudah itu diblen pake kuas.
Dari 12 shades yang ada, my favorite shades yang aku cenderung untuk pakai sehari – hari adalah warna no 1, 4 and 11.

The Packaging
Hal pertama yang aku sadari dari kemasannya adalah warna kemasannya. Kalau Maybelline Nudes Palette dikemas dalam kotak plastik hitam, The Blushed Nudes Palette ini dikemas dalam kotak plastik juga, tapi berwarna nude-pink-mauvy.
Seperti kalian bisa lihat dari foto berikut, The Blushed Nudes Palette punya ukuran kemasan yang lebih besar daripada the Nudes Palette. Awalnya aku tidak sadar akan perbedaan ini sampai saat aku foto kedua palette bersebelahan. Perbedaan lainya yang kutemukan adalah, Maybelline mengganti kuas double ended sponge mereka. Jadi sekarang makeup brushnya mempunyai dua ujung yang berbeda – sponge tip on one end dan a brush on the other. Aku personally lebih suka dengan kombinasi kuas yang baru. jadi sponge tip bisa dipakai untuk pick up the shade, lalu dibaurkan dengan blending brush.
